The 1 Buildin’ – 7 Days of Summer

I’m Dennis Toppenberg Martínez and my goal is working on media, so I want to share online part of broadcast television’s heavenly years through a concept of mine:

T1B (or The 1 Buildin’) is a Netflix-type Video-On-Demand (VOD) membership service which is comprised of a selection of Disney’s 1 Saturday Morning programming as originally broadcasted on the ABC Network with or without vintage commercials.

Disney’s 1 Saturday Morning was the successor to both the iconic The Disney Afternoon block, which was running on TV syndication from 1990 to 1997, and the regular ABC Saturday Morning lineup, which started around 1966. 1 Saturday Morning fused five hours of Disney-produced cartoons like Disney’s Doug (which previously aired on Nickelodeon from 1991 to 1994), Recess, Pepper Ann, reruns of The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, which initially was airing on the network from 1988 to 1991, and even Warner Bros.’ The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show, which had been running on the ABC Saturday Morning lineup since 1986.

And not to mention some of the eponymous segments from the lineup like  Manny the Uncanny, Great Minds Think 4 Themselves (hosted by Genie from Disney’s Aladdin fame and voiced by the late Robin Williams) and the controversial Mrs. Munger’s Class.

T1B is basically the ideal place for retro-Disney cartoon freaks on the planet to rediscover their most loved 1 Saturday Morning-period shows in a way they initially saw, giving them the experience of feeling like they were watching them in the past. Its fundamental objective is to make youngsters witness some portion of Disney’s gloriously brilliant days, like they’ve never seen it before.

All assets raised will be utilized to cover the purchase of technical equipments, attorney fees and licensing of shows directly from Disney and WB. They are the main reason to look for crowdfunding, due to the scope of the project, not to mention that I got limited resources.

You will be able to access them on The 1 Buildin’ by subscribing for just $5.00 a month. However, you can access them for a 7-day free trial. 1TB can be streamed on tablets and cellphones, from iPad to Chromecast.

T1B will be propelled on 2017, in the nick of time to honor the twentieth commemoration of the Disney’s 1 Saturday Morning block.
